1. Neelam Valley
Neelam valley is the northernmost region and district of Azad Kashmir. This valley is like paradise on the earth, it is a bob shaped valley and also known as blue gem valley. Neelum River flows in blossoming green mountains some 13,000 feet from the sea level through the valley which increase the beauty of the valley. The local language is Hindko. Famous places to visit are Chitta Katha, Shounter, Ratti Gali and Saral lakes while there. Horses and jeeps are easily available for traveling.
Jhelum
Valley is in the district of Azad Kashmir
it is a 50 kilometers long valley located along with Jhelum River and connected
to Muzaffarabad.
Jhelum River is one of the largest river of Pakistan. Some popular tourist
attractions are Garhi dupatta, awan patti, chinari, chakothi and chikkar. The calm atmosphere, refreshing waterfall and
attractive area make Jhelum Valley one of the must-visit destiny.
3. Naltar Valley
Naltar
valley is 40km away from Gilgit and can be reached by jeeps. This valley is
famous for its eye-catching colorful lakes. There are three lakes in the valley
known 'Bashkiri Lakes’ at the distance of 13km from Naltar Bala. You should
visit this place at least once in life.
4. Gojal Valley
Gojal
valley is situated in the north of Pakistan. This valley is located in the
largest tehsil of Gilgit-Baltistan.
It is a series of large and small valleys sharing border with hunza south,
China is the north- east and Afghanistan in the north-west. Pakistan and china
are connected through the karakoram highway which passes though the Gojal
Valley and enter at Khunjerab.
5. Deosia Plains
Deosai is located on the boundary of Karakoram
and the western Himalayas, and at no point it is less than 4000 meters above
sea level. These plains remained covered with snow for the 8 months of the
year. The rest of the year these plains are full of attractive colorful flowers.
One of the wonderful things is that you cannot find a single tree in this
plateau spread over 3000 sq km.
